Juliet Do in Chicago - Chang's Martial Arts Academy

Juliet Do

Juliet Do is a third-degree black belt in taekwondo.  She trained under Master Han Don Cho of the Cornell University Sport Taekwondo program and C.W. Tae Kwon Do in Ithaca, New York.  She was an active competitor in the Eastern Collegiate Taekwondo Conference (formerly the INCTL) as well as numerous open tournaments on the East Coast.  After graduating in 2001, Juliet was named Player of the Century for accumulating the highest number of points in the history of Cornell Sport Taekwondo.  After moving to Chicago, Juliet trained with Ultimate Kicks Tae Kwon Do and Team Force under Master Mike Sanchez and Skip Valle.

Currently, Juliet trains under Master Lanre Lawanson of Chang's Martial Arts Academy in Chicago.  She teaches adult intermediate and sparring classes as well as kids Saturday classes.  Her husband, Luis Lovis, also a member of the Cornell Sport Taekwondo program, currently teaches at Chang's as well.

Juliet earned her bachelor's degree from Cornell University.  She is a senior manuscript editor at the University of Chicago Press.
